Volunteer Opportunities

BROOKLYN JUBILEE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We continue to need volunteers throughout Brooklyn on a regular basis. We are now serving in some part of Brooklyn nearly every day! If you are interested to help out, please note the following dates and times where we offer assistance. If you've already been through training, please just let us know you can join us, and we'd be glad to have you. If you have not yet been through training, please wait on an announcement about our next Legal Ministry Volunteer Training Session - likely to be on Feb 23rd.

2nd Tuesday - Flatbush - 6pm
2nd Wednesday - Flatbush - noon
3rd Saturday - Park Slope - 10am
Every other Tuesday morning - Brownsville - 10am
Every other Friday afternoon - Brownsville - 1pm

*New Coney Island dates/Times* Every Monday, Wed, Friday and Saturday 10am to 3pm (you can volunteer for just 2-3 hours) Every Thursday 2-7pm (you can volunteer for just (2-3 hours).

Help us Find Private Pro Bono Counsel for a Group of Homeowners

We're looking for pro bono legal counsel for a group of homeowners in Coney Island trying to escape a shady contractor, either as co-counsel, or to take on the entire matter. I'd be happy to co-counsel with an attorney, let us do the majority of the legwork, but we're not experienced in contract matters like this, and would not be able to represent them fairly on our own. If you are aware of any volunteer attorneys who might be willing to work with us to help this group of families, I'd be very appreciative.
