Vision & Mission

Who we are
We are comprised of Christian professionals who are passionate about God’s work in the healthcare industry. Our professions range from physicians, health care residents/ students, nurses, optometrists, dentists, pharmacists, therapists (physical, occupational and others), physicians assistants, social workers, healthcare researchers, psychologists, lab technicians, paramedics, health care consultants / finance analysts / policy analysts, and hospital administrators.

Vision
In fellowship, encourage one another and become God’s ambassadors in bringing healing to our city, country, and the world by integrating the message of the gospel in the healthcare services that we perform.

Biblical Mandate
Matthew 14:35-36 - When the people recognized Jesus, the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.

Mission
Following Redeemer Presbyterian Church’s Center for Faith & Work’s mission, the Healthcare Fellowship Group aims to connect, equip and mobilize its members:

• By holding regular monthly gatherings, we are able to connect to one another in prayer and discuss similar industry-specific faith & work issues.
• By organizing and hosting healthcare focused events, the group is able to equip and expand the knowledge of its members and others and therefore stir up interest and passion to serve.
• By integrating our faith in the healthcare services that we provide, we aim to mobilize and empower individuals to serve in missions related work, locally and abroad.
