Abbie Killeen, Director of New Works, is an actress and director. She is a founding member of Connecticut Free Shakespeare, a not-for-profit Equity acting company now in its 8th season. New York credits include work at Naked Angels, the Vortex, the Lamb's, NY International Fringe, Stella Adler Theatre and the Cherry Lane. Regionally she has appeared at Hudson Stage, the Westport Country Playhouse, the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia and the Boston Playwrights Theater. National tours include To Kill a Mockinbird and The Odyssey. She also serves as the Associate Artistic Director of National Theatre for Arts and Education where she has directed over 15 touring shows. She holds a BFA from NYU, Tisch and an MFA from Brandeis University. She is thrilled to be part of Threads and has great hope for its future.
Frank Mihelich, Company Manager, is an actor who has worked professionally both regionally and in New York City. He is a graduate of the MFA acting program at Columbia University, The American Conservatory Theatre's Summer Training Congress, and California Baptist University. Frank worked professionally as both an actor and director in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to NYC in 2001. Frank has worked in film, theatre, and television, and can be seen in two AIG Insurance commercials currently running on cable. He has worked at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Arizona Repertory Theatre, and Shadowland Theatre. It is one of Frank's dreams to start a theatre company whose mission is to explore the common ground between the Christian faith and the art of theatre.
Kimberly Prentice, Managing Director, worked as an Administrative Assistant for United Arts, an arts management company, in Los Angeles for 5 years before moving to NYC. Since moving here, she has written, produced and starred in her one-woman-show, Under the Overalls: Stories of a Dresser Unraveled for several venues. She has a B.A. in dance from UCLA and has studied acting with Roy London, the Atlantic Theatre Company and Sally Johnson. She has performed in many plays and musicals Off-Off Broadway, regionally, and internationally. She also had an extensive commercial career.
Bryan Taylor, Program Assistant, has appeared in productions at the American Repertory Theatre, Portland Stage Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Virginia Stage Company, and has performed under the direction of Scott Zigler, Francois Rochaix, Jon Jory, and Kate Whoriskey. A graduate of Harvard's American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre School Institute, he is a founding member of the Threads New Works play development series. Recently Bryan appeared in Juliet at the Horton Foote American Playwrights Festival honoring Romulus Linney. Film/TV credits include Law & Order and the educational series Stop 'Em from Starting.
Misti B Wills, Production Manager, is a director, actress, producer, and teacher. With a BA in Communications (Theatre Concentration) from Eastern Nazarene College and an MA in Theatre Education from Emerson College, she has worked in the Boston area as a theatre educator at the secondary and university levels. An award-winning director and producer, she has launched over fifteen productions, from classic musicals to a bi-lingual touring show to her favorite directorial challenges: experimental, concept-driven renderings of classic stories. As an actress, she has trained with David Mamet and HB Studios and worked in film, stage, and voiceover. Though projecting the image of a Christian professional, Misti confesses her favorite role to be that of the treacherous Beline in Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid. She also had an active leadership role in the arts ministry of Soli Deo Gloria at Park Street Church in Boston where she pioneered the drama ministry group, Lux.
