The Competition
The Competition
Overview
We are looking for for-profit, not-for-profit and arts ventures with a high potential for:
-
Gospel-centered social impact
-
Growth and sustainability
The Ei launched the annual business plan competition in 2007 to identify the most promising entrepreneurs and ventures in our congregation.
The Business Plan Competition seeks to:
-
Encourage the development of gospel-centered businesses, social/public services and art ventures. We want to multiply the number of institutions, companies, and organizations that embody kingdom-minded values.
-
Deepen a Christian theology of entrepreneurship. The competition encourages entrepreneurs to think about and articulate the ways in which their ventures embody and reflect the gospel, and how they assess "gospel impact" or "social impact."
-
Develop a movement of like-minded entrepreneurs and collaborative supportive networks. this competition and other programs in the Entrepreneurship Initiative will facilitate a multi-generational network of relationships that will support a movement of Christian entrepreneurship.
