Katherine Leary Alsdorf - Founder & Executive Director
Katherine came to Redeemer in 2002 to establish the Center for Faith & Work to help people nurture a meaningful integration between people’s faith and their professional work. Prior to this ministry role at Redeemer, Katherine served 20 years in the high tech industry. In California, she served as CEO of Pensare, Inc. – an online management education company, and CEO of One Touch Systems, Inc. – a hardware/software products company. Before that, she was President of Private Satellite Network – a satellite services company - in New York City. She also worked in various consulting, sales, and marketing roles, primarily in the technology sector.
She received an MBA from The Darden School, University of Virginia and a BA in Psychology and Education from Wittenberg University. She became a Christian mid-career in NYC through the ministries of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and has taken seminary classes at Regent College in Vancouver. Calvin Chin - Director, Entrepreneurship Initiative
Before joining the Center for Faith and Work in 2007, Calvin worked in the finance industry for seventeen years. Most recently, he spent seven years with Burnham Securities, Inc. as a director with its investment banking group where he focused on a range of activities for clients in multiple industries. His experience at Burnham enabled him to work with start ups as well as small cap private & public companies. Calvin also has investment advisory experience at Chase Manhattan and Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc. where he managed relationships with high net worth individuals. Calvin has a B.A. from the University of Buffalo and an M.B.A. from N.Y.U. Stern School of Business. Calvin also serves on the advisory board of Hope for New York, a Christian not-for-profit, and is on the College of Arts & Sciences' Dean's Advisory Council at the University of Buffalo. Rev. David H. Kim - Director, The Gotham Initiative
Rev. David H. Kim is the Director of The Gotham Initiative, Redeemer’s intensive education program for young professions launching in the fall of 2008. David has served at Princeton University as a Chaplain and Executive Director of Manna Christian Fellowship for over twelve years. Manna has the unique vision of developing and engaging a gospel worldview, combining spiritual development with worldview formation. He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in biology, his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary in Christian Ethics, and is currently pursuing his D.Min at Fuller Theological Seminary. David studied under Max Stackhouse at PTS and focused on the public theology of Abraham Kuyper. David was also one of the founding editors of Revisions, a Journal of Christian perspective at Princeton University. Maria Fee - Arts Ministry Coordinator
One of our first arts leaders in 2004, Maria helped initiate our monthly InterArts Fellowship. She began working for CFW in 2007 and now operates the visual exhibitions at the Redeemer offices, our literary magazine, RedeemerWrites, Culture Club, the Writers Group and the Arts Leaders vocation group. She received her B.F.A. and later her M.F.A. in painting from Queens College, C.U.N.Y.. Her personal struggles to integrate Christian faith with art and culture lead her to seminary studies where she earned a Masters degree in Theological Studies from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Her personal mission is to investigate how faith transforms art, and art transforms faith. She is a native New Yorker and married to Brian Fee, also an artist. Kenyon Adams - Arts Ministry Coordinator
Kenyon is a singer, songwriter and actor with a passion to see artists living out their kingdom callings, in community. He was named a White House Presidential Scholar in the Arts under Bill Clinton, and received a BFA in Theater from Southern Methodist University, Meadows School of the Arts where he received the Greer Garson Foundation Award for Acting. He currently serves on the Alumni Board for the National Foundation
for the Advancement in the Arts.
Prior to joining the CFW in 2008, Kenyon served as Artistic Director of Hall Neighborhood House, Assistant Director of Yale University’s Open End Theater, and collaborated with director Sarah Peterson in creating Long Wharf Theater’s production of Black Nativity. Kenyon helped to establish The Space, a multi-cultural arts venue in New Haven, CT and was a member of the Axiom Community and Chetstone Manor, both of which explored a theology of missional living for the arts community. Kenyon has enjoyed leading worship for churches in Dallas, Connecticut and New York and continues to perform original music in New York City. In 2010, he made his feature film debut in the movie Lucky Life at the Tribeca Film Festival. Since coming to the CFW, Kenyon has coordinated InterArts Fellowship as well as the Arts Vocation Groups.
