![]() Sebastian Traeger Serial Entrepreneur How do we promote economic development and generate a profit? Our answer was Village Phone, a mobile company in El Salvador. How can we help Christian organizations use the internet to share their message and raise money? Our answer was Christianity.com, an early leader in the initial web boom. How can we create the brand of giving by building a marketplace to connect donors and nonprofits? Our answer was Razoo.com, a leading social fundraising platform. Each of these startups was animated by a particular vision for solving a specific problem. Sebastian Traeger is a serial entrepreneur dedicated to building enterprises that solve specific problems but are inspired and undergirded by the truth of the gospel. Sebastian and his team believe the gospel is the good news that God saves sinners through repentance of sin and faith in the life, substitionary death and resurrection of Jesus. As lives are changed by the gospel we increasingly long to use them to bring about some of the effects of the gospel, including economic, social, relational and spiritual order out of existing chaos. Sebastian will be with us for the October Fellowship Group to help us look practically at how the gospel can inform, influence and animate our ventures. |
