October 2011 Be Known Create Engage Arts Ministry Arts Ministry Blog Arts News Archive ![]() |
Hello,
The changes that bring abundance into our lives are often of an aesthetic nature. Recently, I saw a delivery man surfing on his dolly cart through midtown with surprising speed and finesse, dodging tourists and cabs with artful ease and enjoying, no doubt, the blossoming smiles and befuddled stares of noonday pedestrians. In relationship with the Triune God, there is always abundance, always possibility, always more, always a way through. As artists, we daily seek the more and the way through in our explorations of the here and now and the what seems to be. By whose estimation are you measuring the generative potential of your work right now? Is the abundant life of the Triune God defining your resources and shaping your vision? Join us this fall in Arts Vocation Groups and the Gospel & Culture Conference, as we together ask the God of Abundance to give us a glimpse of His vision for the city. Sincerely, ![]() |
