Background and Purpose: This year for the first time we will be providing small group mentoring for recent undergraduate and MBA arrivals and support/guidance for undergraduate and MBA interns in the city for the summer to equip them to more effectively live out their faith in the workplace. We believe providing mentoring and infrastructure for new arrivals is a strategic step towards fulfilling our call to equip, mobilize, and connect finance industry professionals to better approach their careers with Christ-centered thinking.
Time Committment:
In order to get the most enriching experience from the program and to use our mentors' time wisely, we ask participants to committ to attending the monthly FSM finance chat & mentoring lunch (generally on the second Sunday of the month) as well as the monthly FSM fellowship (generally on the fourth Monday of the month). This constitutes a time committment of about 5 hours a month (3 hours on a Sunday, 2 hours on a Monday). We will make an exception for investment bankers--given their typical 100-120 hour work week we are happy if they are able to commit to the Sunday Finance Chat and lunch once a month.
