Smith: Culture as Liturgy Award-winning author Jamie Smith is an expert in French philosophy & postmodern thought and the Professor of Philosophy at Calvin College. Jamie draws on philosophy for his real passion: cultural criticism. His books include Desiring the Kingdom: Worship, Worldview, and Cultural Formation, and, most recently, Letters to a Young Calvinist. His writing has appeared in magazines such as the Harvard Divinity Bulletin, First Things, and Books & Culture.
