The PhD Students Group will get together on Thursday, March 11 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Redeemer Offices, 1359 Broadway, 4th fl (between 36 & 37th st).
On Thursday we'd like to ask some questions and discuss what it may mean to "dream big" as academics. A few Sundays ago, Scott Sauls referenced a quote by Walt Disney:
Launching off of this quote and Paige Brown's talk "Kingdom Matters," we'll be discussing how dreaming big translates into engaging with God's Kingdom work.
How do we do the work of the kingdom in our classrooms, labs and writing spaces?
What might renewal look like in academia?
