Hello,

Welcome to 2012 and back to the Ei. Did you ski, relax, sunbathe or do something new? Ei is doing some new things - consolidating our Ei fellowship group meeting with other CFW vocation groups on one exciting night, introducing second place winners for the Competition, and hosting the Ei Forum at the new Redeemer building!

Come join us on Jan. 30th for an Ei town hall meeting to plan, build, and contribute your faithful experiences to this growing community. Mark your calendar for April 13-14 and plan to join us at the 7th annual Ei Forum.

Sincerely,

Calvin Chin

BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION UPDATE
The 2012 Business Plan Competition is entering the semi-finals! Our panel of readers selected 28 ventures to to move on as semi-finalists (11 for profits, 9 not-for-profits, and 8 arts). They will participate in a coaching workshop next week and will submit a full blown business plan by January 20th. Keep praying for them to hone their ideas and ventures in a way that reflects the power of the Gospel.

JOIN THE FAITH & WORK NIGHT TEAM!
We are seeking people to join a central team that will help to execute this new monthly format for vocation groups. While the vocation group leaders will continue leading the individual breakouts, we need greeters, ushers, people to help with set-up, etc. Please email amilee.watkins@redeemer.com ASAP!

CULTURE CLUB: THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS
Join us as we visit this multimedia exhibition that explores life and faith in early Israel through the exploration of ancient artifacts. Culture Club creates opportunities to learn about and experience the arts in NYC. We hope you will join us.

"GLIMPSE LEADERS NEEDED!
The Glimpse events from our Gospel & Culture Conference in November created such a buzz that we just couldn't let them die! Seeking 1 Glimpse per congregation per month in the new year. If you led a Glimpse for the conference, consider repeating it so more people can experience it with you! Spread the word and take a look at ideas HERE. Send your proposal to cfw@redeemer.com or submit online at: www.faithandwork.org/glimpses
