NYC Ballet and the Prodigal Son

The the well known parable in Luke, a story of sin and redemption, is the inspiration for George Balanchine's The Prodigal Son.  Experience the parable through the power of dance coupled with a fabulous score by the famous Soviet composer, Sergei Prokofiev. The evening's program also includes Balanchine's choreography to Tschaikovsky's Mozartiana as well as Stars and Stripes, Balanchine's ballet set to John Philip Sousa's marching music.
