For the Beauty of the Church
Join us for this special edition fall Kickoff event as we continue to explore the intersection of art and faith. Exciting guests include David Taylor, author and arts pastor, as well as an introduction by scholar and author, Dr. Gordon Fee. Musical performance by concert organist Chelsea Chen.
Inspired by the title of David Taylor's new book, For the Beauty of the Church, the setting for this gathering is a New York treasure, St. Michael's Church and the Chapel of the Angels, featuring exquisite stainglass and mosaic designs by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
Food and fellowship will follow the evening's presentations. Program begins at 7:10pm. Admission is free. St. Michael's church is handicap accessible with the exception of the reception hall.
