FAITH & FINANCE CLASS - WINTER 2012

What: "Faith & Finance" is an eight-week class run by the Financial Services Ministry exploring ways the gospel intersects with our calling as financial professionals. We will deepen our understanding of a Christian worldview for finance, discuss the ways in which the gospel can challenge common industry idols, explore what Scripture has to say about the tensions inherent in our work, and brainstorm innovative ways to change the way finance operates.

The class includes teaching, a dynamic community, in-class discussion, prayer, a daily devotional series, weekly readings, Scriptural contemplation, drafting a personal mission statement, a group project, and culminates in the March 23-25 Annual FSM Leader Retreat.

Class Dates (Participants are only allowed to miss one class):

• Six Thursday evenings, 7-9:30pm, Feb 2 - March 15, 2012
• One Saturday, Feb 25, 2012 from 10a-4pm
• One weekend FSM all-leader retreat, Fri-Sat Mar 23-25, 2012

REDEEMER FAITH & WORK NIGHTS 2012

Starting in January, all vocation groups will start meeting on the LAST Monday night of each month at Redeemer's new W83 building. We'll have space for all individual vocation group breakouts and a corporate time for common teaching. We hope that this will enable fellowship groups, spouses, friends, and roommates to attend together and simplify your calendars!
