Our Spring InterArts Fellowship gathering will be held Thursday, April 15, at 7:00PM (Julia Miles Theater, 424 W. 55th St.). Please join us as we explore "Creating Opportunities: The Entrepreneurial Calling of the Artist" with a panel of artists who have found innovative ways to pursue their creative careers and serve God.

The Arts Ministry is launching arts vocation groups for those working in the Dance Industry and Fashion Industry, and for Arts Leaders (leaders, managers and administrators in arts organizations and ventures). Are you passionate about your work in one of these fields and about your faith? Do you have a few hours each month to serve others in your industry by helping to start these groups? Email

Get more opportunities to learn about entrepreneurship (see IAF above) through our Artists Professional Development programs, collaborating in April with Redeemer's Entrepreneurship Initiative(Ei). Apply for a scholarship to attend the annual Ei Forum or register for a workshop, "Entrepreneurship for Artists." More info here.
 
 

ENGAGE

Redeemer's Grace & Race initiative will host José Antonio Cruz, associate producer of Repertorio Español, this Friday, March 12, at 7:00PM at the Redeemer offices (1359 Broadway 4th floor). Join us for a discussion on identity and bridging racial/ethnic lines through the arts. Repertorio Español was founded in 1968 to introduce the best of Latin American, Spanish and Hispanic-American theatre in distinctive, quality productions. Email Maria Fee with questions.

The Center for Faith & Work (which houses the Arts Ministry) will host author N. T. Wright on Tuesday, April 20. He will be discussing his newest book, After You Believe, which "reveals the Bible's call for a revolution - a transformation of character that takes us beyond our earthly pursuit of money, sex, and power into a virtuous state of living that allows us to reflect God and live more worshipful, fulfilling lives." OPPORTUNITIES

Fellowship for the Performing Arts, a Redeemer Arts Affiliate, presents an encore off-Broadway presentation of The Screwtape Letters, starring Redeemerite Max McLean. The Culture Club will attend on Saturday, April 17. Get info about other performances here.

Christopher Street Opera will hold auditions March 13-14 for its May 2010 production of new one-act American operas. Cast must be available afternoons and evenings for rehearsals from April 19-May 2 (in NYC). All roles are paid. Email for more information.
