Weekly Devotional

"...there is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry: Mine! That cry we have heard, and this work, far too great for our own strength, we have taken up only in reply to this call." -Abraham Kuyper

As we grow together as leaders in our institutions, organizations, and workplaces, let us hold tightly to the power of the gospel, which challenges, strengthens, and encourages us as the body of believers.

These weekly devotionals are the daily meditations of Abraham Kuyper, a Dutch Calvinist theologian, philosopher, and politician. His work in the public sphere was highly regarded as he served as Prime Minister of his country, and founded the Free University of Amsterdam, where he worked as teacher and administrator. Yet, we will see how his public life was an outpouring of the Spirit's work in and through him as he regularly communed with the Father.
