Redeemer’s Dance Industry Vocation group has been a source of community, networking, dance theology and collaboration since 2006. This monthly gathering of dancers served as the birthplace for the Perichoresis Dance Project, a dance company showcasing new works by Redeemer choreographers. We engage in dialogue with dancers, choreographers and dance administrators working in companies all over the city including American Ballet Theater, New York City Ballet, New Chamber Ballet, Metropolitan Opera Ballet and Paul Taylor Dance Company. The group has also enjoyed partnerships with Project Dance and Coriolis Dance.
After being on hiatus in 2009, the Dance Industry Group is newly reformed and invites all those working in dance to enjoy fun and fellowship with other believing dance professionals, as well as networking opportunities, relevant dialogue and helpful vocational resources.
