Culture Club

The Culture Club creates opportunities to learn about and experience the range of arts events that New York City has to offer. In order to be renewers of culture, we need to be knowledgeable about and engaged in it. The arts are only one aspect of "culture," but they are important because they both reflect and influence the worldviews around us.

Every month or so, we attend a performance, exhibition, or other arts event. Most events are appropriate for ages 13 and up.

We purchase group-priced tickets (sometimes up to 20% off of single ticket prices) in moderately-priced seating areas of each venue to allow everyone to be able to afford to be part of the group. Those who wish to buy more (or less) expensive tickets on their own are welcome to join us.

Because the number of tickets to these events is limited, we often do not announce the event in the Redeemer bulletin and other church-wide communications tools. Join the Culture Club eNewsletter to be the first to know about all upcoming Culture Club events!
