Artist Spotlight: Carolyn Leutwiler
Carolyn moved to New York City over three years ago to continue training as an opera singer. Her NYC performances include appearances at Merkin Hall with the dell'Arte Opera Ensemble and at Symphony Space singing excerpts from Idomeneo and Don Giovanni. In addition to singing, Carolyn has written a book, Singleness Redefined, which was released July 2. On staff at Redeemer, she enjoys the challenge (most of the time!) of balancing singing, writing AND a full time job.

Originally from St. Louis, Carolyn graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music. When she is not juggling the above tasks, she loves time with friends, escapes to Central or Riverside Parks, or taking in some cultural offering of this great city. She volunteers as a greeter at the West Side PM service and serves with Hope for New York at DeWitt Nursing Home.
