Workshop 1: Developing a Gospel-Centered Venture

This workshop is intended to help you understand the gospel and how the gospel uniquely transforms our hearts, community, and world. Before we can turn to our ventures, whether arts, for-profit or not-for-profit, we must first understand how the gospel dynamic changes us. We will look at passages of Scripture that communicate the core of the gospel and from that core understand its power in our lives.

During the workshop, we will:

  • show you how the gospel can even shape the creation of a venture
  • give you an overview of the fundamentals of starting and running a venture,
  • highlight some companies and home-grown ventures, and
  • look at the four building blocks of a venture: mission, market, model and management.

Upon completion of this workshop, you should have a better understanding of how the Gospel can drive the formation and operation of your venture and use these components in your executive summary.

A fee of $12 covers the cost of lunch and materials ($20 day of and for walk-ins).

The application deadline for the Executive Summary is November 12, 2012.
